When I order my eKidPix web site, how soon will it be available?

After you place your order you will receive a confirmation email with an Account Link and Activation Code to complete the setup process. You simply enter your personal info and select your theme and begin uploading your photos. The initial setup only takes 5 minutes. How much time you actually spend on your web site is up to you – we find it fun and highly addicting.

I placed my order, but haven't received my login information - why?

With all the SPAM and Junk email going around, it is possible your email provider is blocking the automatic email generated by our system. Please be sure to add accounts@ekidpix.com to your email address book and/or email safelist to ensure delivery.

How often will new web site themes be released?

As fast as we can build them! Our goal is 30 themes for 2007.

If I want to change my theme, do I have to pay to do so?

No! You will never be billed to change your web site’s theme. Simply log into your account, go to the Themes page and choose the theme you want to switch to.

I have never built or managed a web site, will I be able to use eKidPix?

Yes! We've invested a lot of time developing an extremely easy-to-use content management system, also known as a CMS. We've tested the CMS with people just like you and they gave us the thumbs up. We hope you will too!

What will my eKidPix web site address be?

Your eKidPix web site address will be the name you select .ekidpix.com

Example: www.timmy.ekidpix.com or www.hannafamily.ekidpix.com

If you prefer a direct domain name (example: www.timmyjones.com), please click here for information on reserving your personalized domain name. There is a $35 surcharge for the domain name registration and setup.

When setting up your eKidPix account, our system will check to make sure the name you want is available. If it is not available, you can create one similar to your request or email us for suggestions.

How many photographs/video clips can my eKidPix web site hold?

eKidPix web sites come with 200mb of storage, which is capable of holding thousands of journal entries and up to 400 photographs. Video files require more space, so if you will be uploading a lot of videos you may want to purchase additional blocks of storage. If you don't know how much you will be posting, don't worry – our storage system will email you when you are nearing your limit and provide tips on how to proceed.

I don't want the general public viewing my kid's/family's web site, can I password protect it?

Yes! We are parents and have families and share your concerns regarding online security as well. In your account preferences, simply select 'Family Password', assign the password and you are good to go.

If I password protect my web site how do I give access to my family and friends?

You have a few options. (1) You can email the password to your family members and friends OR (2) When your family members or friends visit the web site they can send a request to your email address for access.

I have a family member or friend using eKidPix, how do I access their web site?

If you know of a family member or friend using eKidPix but donate know the web site address simply click the 'Search' tab in the navigation at the top of the eKidPix web site. Enter the last name of the eKidPix member and click 'Search'. If the member's web site is password protected you will need to send the member a request for the password from their web site.

How do I cancel my account?

Now why would you want to go and do that? In all seriousness, if you are not happy with your web site or the service you received at eKidPix, you can email our billing department by clicking here or select 'Do Not Renew This Account' within your email renewal notification. If I am not happy with my web site, do you offer refunds?

I lost the password to my password protected web site, how can I get in?

Simply type in your web site address and click the Forgot Password link. If you change your password at any time, be sure to alert your family and friends of the new password.

What image formats can I use with eKidPix?

eKidPix supports image files in many formats, including: JPG, PNG, and BMP.

If you do not use one of the formats listed above, your image upload may not work properly. Before contacting support, please confirm that you have used an accepted image file format.

What video formats can I use with eKidPix?

eKidPix supports the following video formats MOV, MPG, WMV, AVI.

I plan on uploading a billion photos and videos, can I purchase additional storage for my web site?
